The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District, known locally as BART, is recognized for consistently meeting its mission of providing a safe, reliable, economical, and energy-efficient means of transportation. Since opening in September 1972, BART has safely carried over 1.5 billion passengers more than 18 billion passenger miles throughout the Bay Area.

BART is poised to open a major new extension in the West Bay that will include a new station at the San Francisco International Airport. In order to meet the projected increase in ridership, BART needs experienced individuals to fill a diverse range of jobs throughout the system.

BART turned to Bridges Marketing Group, one of BART's agencies of record, to create a targeted campaign that showcases the transit organization as a preferred workplace. Campaign tactics included local BART job fairs, a direct mail campaign, drive time radio tags and in-station billboards.

Bridges' headline "Career Opportunities With A Future You Can Depend On," support copy "Join the People Who Keep the Bay Area Moving" and use of hero photos of actual BART employees successfully leverages current economic conditions and BART's rewarding work environment to attract career-minded individuals.
